Thierno Sy is a young photographer based in Paris. After his first steps in the Fashion industry as a stylist, he quickly got passionate about other facets of fashion – decor, lightning, body expression, etc. – which led him to manage the creative direction of the shootings he was involved in and finally put himself behind the camera. More than Fashion, Thierno shoots personalities and clothes, aiming for the perfect combination that will express the right feelings, emotions and energies.
Thierno Sy has developed his very own view of Fashion, by designing and shooting stories for magazines such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Glamour and W Korea or by sublimating prestigious couture houses’ creations, including Elie Saab and Maison Irfe.
Amongst the many models he worked with, Thierno got the chance to collaborate with some Fashion figures such as Ana Beatriz Barros, Zuzanna Bijoch, Sanne Vloet, Yumi Lambert, Irina Lazareanu or Willy Cartier, but also the dancer and choreographer Marie-Agnès Gillot or the actresses Mélanie Thierry and Elsa Zylberstein.
